This game was a must have. You'll still find this one in everyone's top 10 lists to this day. If you didn't have this one, then you weren't playing Nintendo. This game was a massive hit!
It's not a boxing game! Once you learn it's a puzzle game, then and only then will you start enjoying and mastering it. You make EVERY single punch and dodge count. If you time things right, depending on your opponent, you'll advance through the game at lightening speed! If you try button smashing, you'll lose in no time at all.
I was able to defeat Mike back in the day! I took him down many times! Few kids were able to make such a claim!
I think I generally placed this one right up, just behind Blaster Master at #2 being my second fav of all time. Who knows how many hours I've spent playing this one. I bet I'll play just as many well into the future too! I still have a good time running through this one. Super punch out on the SNES is a total blast too!
