There's some polystyrene used to create a firm foot rest towards the firewall. I may remove this in future and replace with 40mm of closed cell foam for a more luxurious underfoot feel and better sound absorbing, when I add a further 20mm of closed cell foam into the front too. There's a more generous inch of wadding attached to the underside of the floor liner - which is hard to make out on this image. However, as you can see, not much by way of vibration dampening.
