There's four bolts to undo in order to lift the seat bottoms up.  They were tied up with a piece of wire so I could get easy access.  Door sill trims were removed and the plastic side bolster trim panels were removed so I could cover exposed sections of the wheel arch.

I used scissors to cut the thin carpet fabric in such a way that I could lift the floor liner but they would still be restrained once the seat bolts were re-attached.  You have to be touch with this shaped contoured liner.  Don't be afraid to bend it out of shape as it pops back to normal when you're done.
