This was my favorite Nintendo game of all time back in the day. It's a hidden gem! It's a very long adventure game like Metroid and Zelda. I loved those also and while those were always in my top 5, this one remained #1!
Great adventure and the best boss battles, far superior to the ones found in Metroid or Zelda. The problem with this game though, though it just as large as those games, failed to incorporate a password system like Metroid or a save using an internal battery like Zelda!
In order to beat this one, I had to leave the power turned on all day, and hope that mom didn't see the bright red light in the Nintendo and turn it off on me!!!! hahaha
I would go on to beat this one plenty of times, just like the other two games. Had it only a save system, it would have been just as popular I'm sure of it. Man, I still play through this one about every year and I know just where to go and how to defeat all the bosses like I'm still a teenager!
