Not going to win any beauty prizes, but at least it's slightly less visually offensive than the gaping hole and wibbly wobbly dash top.
Just a bit of Foamex board bolted to the top of the dash. Has vastly improved the structural integrity of the dash... operation of the switchgear no longer results in horrible creaking noises.
