What you're looking at here is my conversion of the Hasbro "Build-Your-Own Star Wars: Clone Wars Clone Commander Blaster" electronic blaster into a more accurate clone trooper DC-15A blaster rifle. The base toy itself is awesome and makes a great conversion! I made some greeblies and 3D printed them, I also used some rivets and a cap from a Polyethylene glycol 3350 bottle. I tried to make the stock look like it was made out of wood, which was a fun little experiment. As this is a build-your-own blaster it comes apart into a few pieces that can be put back together in combinations, which then make different sounds depending on the configuration. Even with my mods the blaster is still able to do this perfectly, and the sound still work. This is definitely one of my favorite conversions! This project was finished April 10, 2020.
