Atari 2600 Game Collection. All these Atari games are ones I had growing up, or relatives and friends had that I played. The vast majority of these I had at one time or another. We were very, very poor (I remember digging for change around the house, very often, to help find money for a loaf of bread). I had to work during the summer to buy the console, and my friend down the street gave me his doubles to get me started. I traded very often with kids at school. Often I traded one for two. This was the only way I could get games. I eventually ended up with a nice big cardboard box full, even though my parents couldn't buy me a single one. I sold off my 2600 and games to kid down the street, a year or so after buying my Nintendo and getting enough games in the same manner, to where I no longer played Atari anymore. These were all recently re-purchased from ebay. If you double click on them, you'll see additional info.

This collection is mainly complete. I'm exploring the library for any more I may have forgotten over the years. It looks like I may have found all the ones I have childhood memories of. What a special system! For those who were not 70's and 80's kids, you may not understand this, but back then this was so special having arcade games right in your living room, where you could play for hours without quarters! Sure, it wasn't like going to the arcade but you have to understand, back then we just used our imaginations. This was a huge part of the home gaming experience. See, it wasn't about how games looked. That almost just didn't matter back then. I know it seems so silly to think this way today, but this experience made these games so memorable and the memories so much more magical, see? It was an amazing time growing up in the 80's.
