On 7th August’25 and 8th August’25, the students of Classes IV and V went for an educational trip to Nehru Planetarium, New Delhi as part of the Social Studies Week. The outing was organized by NIE, under the guidance of the School Principal, Ms. Shalini Agarwal to enhance students’ knowledge about astronomy and space science in an engaging and interactive way.The students were taken to Sky Theatre, where they watched an awe-inspiring show on the solar system, galaxies, and space missions. The visuals were captivating, and the narration helped them understand complex concepts in a fun and simple manner.After the show, they explored the Science Park and the exhibition area, which had several interesting models and displays, including satellites, rocket parts, and information about famous Indian scientists and space missions like Chandrayaan and Mangalyaan. The visit sparked curiosity and excitement about space exploration.The students felt inspired and enriched.
