Born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1958, the third of four children, Berry's mother, Beth was a jazz singer with Quebecois roots, and her father, Don Berry, worked in theatre and film, most notably appearing alongside Ed Harris in the George A Romero 1981 cult movie, Knightriders.
