🚀 **PROJECT 7 — SAINT GEORGE / IEROKIPIA**
**7 YEARS OF STUDY & RESEARCH → A PIONEER TOURISM & FAMILY PROJECT**
For **7 years**, I have been studying, researching and developing ideas for how Paphos can become an even more creative, attractive and family-friendly destination. 🔎📚
One of my projects focuses on the **7 Christian catacombs in Ierokipia village, Paphos**, and the surrounding area of **Saint George**.
For years, this historic location was largely **abandoned and underused**. I raised the idea with the municipality and encouraged greater attention to the area. Since then, a **small children's playground** has been created in front of the site — but I believe the location has the potential to become much more. 🇨🇾
💡 **MY VISION: A CHRISTIAN, SPORTS & FAMILY HISTORY PARK**
Imagine transforming the area into a peaceful destination where **history, Christianity, family activities, sport and tourism** come together.
🏛️ Discover the **7 Christian catacombs**
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Create a welcoming **family park**
🏀 Add a **basketball court or small sports area**
🌳 Develop a safe, green space for walking and relaxing
📚 Create educational information about the history of the area

📣 Promote the location through a dedicated tourism campaign
🚶 Create a **historical walking experience** for families and visitors
The area is already **quiet and suitable for walking**, which makes it possible to create a different type of tourist experience — one based on **history, discovery, family time and peaceful outdoor activities.**
With the right investment, design and marketing, a place that is currently little known could become a **recognisable Paphos attraction.** 🚀
