I like building with balsa, having built my first planes in 1974. This collection is planes I've completed since 2015, with the exception of a PBY I built in 1995. I've gotten better at it the last few years since learning new techniques via the Internet and much experimentation. Most of the kits are designed for rubber band powered free flight that I built for display and customized some of the details. My scratch-build models are ceiling flyers intended for display only.
