Building the R1 for display. Possibly the coolest airplane ever flown. Few aircraft killed a higher percentage of pilots than Gee Bees. My additions are a scale prop, full wheel spats, engine push rod tubes, wing bracing, and custom paint. The project was shelved midway for two years while I built a 210 sqft custom kitchen/house remodel for my wife from my own plans. This is an easy kit to assemble and a lot of fun to build.
