A public Twitch username isn't the same thing as a password. It sounds obvious, but when someone is eager to get a service working, they may enter information without thinking much about it. A website offering a twitch viewbot free trial shouldn't need you to hand over your password directly. Be especially careful if it asks for a login code or requests access to your account without a clear reason.
