This new take on a classic design borrows somewhat from the past, as the overall shape is reminiscient of the Lombardi-era helmet logo. The central end point of the G is slanted to give the letter a sleeker profile, and the marks in that section of the letter are inspired by yard marks. The slant angle is matched to the side tips of the logo before it rounds off. One was included for each of the team's Superbowl wins.
