In the grand tradition of cautionary tales like "The Island of Dr. Moreau," which H. G. Wells published in 1896, "Clones for Sale" tells the story of John Holloway, who decides to clone his deceased wife in order to keep her with him forever. After all, he has plenty of material: years' worth of photographs and home movies, her clothes and possessions from her lifetime, that strand of hair he kept from their first date… Unfortunately for John, his cloned wife isn't quite as lovable as she was in life—she's more than a little creepy in fact—and it doesn't take long for him to realize his mistake.
