By setting a goal, people create an aim for the long-term future whereas having an objective helps you to achieve your goal. For example, if you want to learn a new coding language. Then your goal is to be able to write any type of code and everything you do to accomplish your goal like learning a small topic of programming by adding a daily task are the objectives.

Similarly, your expectation is not your goals.  If you are capable of becoming a successful programmer someday then that is an expectation. On the other hand, if you see yourself working code for software then that is your vision.
