I've made the decision to move this T-piece slightly. Rather than being buried on the chassis crossmember (directly above the handbrake linkage, so really awkward to get at), I've attached it to the rear bulkhead just below the access hatch. This will allow the entirety of the brake lines from the T-piece ontward to the rear wheels to be visually inspected from the access panel in the rear bulkhead without having to crawl around under the car.
