I have no idea what John Carpenter was thinking when he made this movie. It's not a Halloween movie. Why didn't he give it it's own title? Not only that though, this movie sucks as a standalone, whatever it is, too. I always hated it. Last time I watched it was back as a teenager. I just re-watched it, trying to stay open minded and watch it just as a "movie of it's own" already knowing, not to expect a Halloween movie and give it a second chance, after collecting this....... Nope. I forgot 99% of it but I hated it 100% just as much this time haha.
Ah well. It makes a good collectable to complete my Carpenter set. What's funny is, I read that Carpenter feels the same way as I do about 3, with Halloween 2. I guess he just didn't plan for a massive franchise and wasn't interested in making one.
