The item you see here is my first conversion that isn't a Star Wars replica, and it's of the Spirit Halloween "Light-Up Deluxe Replica Ghostbusters Proton Pack" into a more movie-accurate version of the proton pack. It's not perfect, of course, but I'm pleased with it. Most of the converting centered around putting on more accurate greeblies (most of which I bought on Ebay through a seller who sold the cosmetic conversion kits, and another seller who sold accurate stickers, and an Etsy seller who made a 3D printed slide holster for the wand). I also painted it in a more accurate style and painted a few parts on the wand with neon glow-in-the-dark paint to make it appear that they're lights. Though you can't see it in the pictures, the pack is also brushed with splotches of glow-in-the-dark paint so that under a black light it looks like there's slime dripping down the surface of it. The completed pack was mounted on an accurate ALICE frame and finished in October 2018. I haven't yet upgraded the electronics, I plan to do that sometime in the future.
