Unsurprisingly I discovered that either the line to it or the atmospheric catch tank is clogged. This was resulting in the cooling system over pressurising (as via this tank is the only way the system can vent). In the interests of not blowing hoses or anything until I have time to dismantle the left hand front wing, I've temporarily rerouted the overflow line into another bottle.
