One change I've made is to the routing of the last section of fuel hose.  This used to run from the right to left actually inside the engine cowling.  I've decided to keep it outside, running along the rear edge.  

I don't like having fuel lines routed in such a way that they can degrade out of sight, plus I could see heat soak potentially causing fuel vaporisation issues (especially with modern fuels).  It also required a pretty tight bend in the line immediately after the fuel pump.

While I'm not totally taking this car apart and modifying everything - I do intend to use it, so there will be changes here and there to improve reliability and usability of the car in the real world.
