I've had increasingly persistent issues with fuel hoses disintegrating within months of being fitted in the last few years. We're not talking 30 year old stock or some Chinesium I've bought off eBay for £0.05 a metre, this is stuff with recent production dates bought from a major nationwide car parts retailer.

Given that the Invacar has something of a reputation for liking to spontaneously combust, the last thing I want to worry about are fuel leaks.

To this end I've lost patience playing around with basic consumer grade stuff, so have picked up some A1 Marine grade fuel hose (ISO 7840). The hope is that this might last a bit better.

It certainly feels like a better quality product, only time will tell...
