Here's a little story for ya.
Back on June 2021, I found a copy of Metroid Prime with the Metroid Prime 2 Bonus Disc/Demo, which is supposed to be a 2-disc box, but to my surprise it was a 1-disc box with Prime 1 and the full version of Prime 2 loose on the box. I decided to cut my losses and accept it due to how cheap it actually was and to not ruin my other acquisitions of that day: Sonic Gems Collection, Sonic Riders (GC), an N64 Expansion Pak and an N64 Rumble Pak with the batteries cover.
Fast forward to June 14th, 2026, I was lucky to find someone on Facebook Marketplace selling only the box and the manuals for Prime 2. Fortunately, I could have it shipped from another state. I received the package on June 17th, 2026, just in (bailey) time before I made a trip for a weekend.
Tl;dr my copy of Metroid Prime 2: Echoes went from a loose disc to a CIB copy in the span of 5 years.
