I was visiting my sister and nephew (about 1 hour away from home) and found a cheap second-hand copy of the Switch version of Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido, which I got on June 20th, 2026. It is also available on the 3DS.
This is a game that I used to see very often, be it brand new or second-hand for 400 Mexican Pesos (around $20) at most, my copy costed 240 Pesos (around $12) and the 3DS version could've been bought brand new for about 50 Mexican Pesos (about $2.50 at most). I totally missed my chance to get it at that price.
Fun fact: When I bought this game, the store also had a brand new Limited Run Games copy of SNK Vs. Capcom Chaos: SVC Chaos, which was a rarity since LRG doesn't ship to brick & mortar stores here in Mexico. I admit I was tempted to buy it, but not at 800 Mexican Pesos. That's too much for a game I don't particularly enjoy as much as The King of FIghters 2003 (yes, really).
If I ever see a copy again at that price or less, I'll grab it, if only to compliment my physical copies of Marvel Vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics and Capcom Fighting Collection 2.
