This is another game I used to own back in late 2005. In fact, I still own the receipt of when I got it.
For better or worse, I traded my original CIB vopy of Mario Party 7 (minus the Gamecube Microphone) for an incomplete copy of Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness in 2007, which eventually became CIB. My Memory Cards still had my original save data.
Unfortunately, this copy, which I got on July 31st, 2026. isn't CIB, it costed me a trade of my GoldenEye 007 N64 cartridge and the difference in money. Also, the box was dirty with... something. I wanna believe it was chocolate due to how easily it removes from the box when I cleaned it with a disinfectant wipe, but it could've been anything.
I almost regretted it because if I hadn't traded GoldenEye, I would've paid close to the average cost of a brand new Switch game.
With that said, I didn't mind trading GoldenEye because that's a game I rarely play. If I do want to, I can play it on Nintendo Switch Online. Not to mention, there are plenty of second-hand copies of that game here in my area.
Hopefully I can turn this copy of Mario Party 7 into a CIB one, just like I did with Metroid Prime 2: Echoes a few weeks ago.
