Mazda 6 GH illuminated do...

This job took just over one hour to complete (excluding the wasted time by trying to not use a pull wire).
I tested the sills before starting the job to save any embarrassment.
Solder wire came to the rescue as the perfect pull wire.
I installed the sills to one side and soldered the reds and blacks together. There was sufficient wiring to allow both sides to come together in the passenger footwell. I tucked the cables beneath the carpet behind the glovebox.
The black was grounded and the red positive was soldered to an extension cable that ran from the brown map light wire down the passenger a pillar and into the footwell.
